Outside Golf Ops Attendant

Date Available: Immediately

Outside Golf Ops Attendant Responsibilities: 

  • Greets members and guests with a smile and takes care of their needs.
  • Stages rental golf carts in a clean and organized manner.
  • Works variety of shifts as needed (including nights, weekends and/or holidays)
  • Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Cleans golf carts thoroughly after use.
  • Maintains golf carts for use and checks tire pressure.
  • Reports any golf cart damage immediately.
  • Rotates golf carts used to maintain an even usage of all the carts.
  • Sets up driving range bag stands.
  • Retrieves balls from range and washes them before their next use.
  • Retrieves broken carts from the golf course.
  • Maintains the cart barn area in an immaculate and organized manner.
  • Performs all closing tasks i.e. securing all golf carts in the cart barn.
  • Reports any unsafe conditions to the Head Golf Professional.
  • Attends golf ops meetings.

Requirements:

  • General golf knowledge.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs., operate a golf cart, and operate a hand radio.
  • May be subjected to adverse weather conditions.

  • Minimum wage plus tips

Golf Operations Manager

Golf Shop Attendant

Date Available: Immediately

Golf Shop Attendant Responsibilities: 

The position will assist management in daily golf operations; including but not limited to: POS, tee time reservations, member relations, merchandising, and providing other services to ensure an exceptional golf experience. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays if needed. The golf shop attendant will  learn how to operate the point of sales and tee time management systems, and exude excellent customer service skills both in person and on the telephone.

Requirements: 

  • General golf knowledge.
  • Retail Experience
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • May be subjected to adverse weather conditions.

Golf Operations Manager

Ambassador

Date Available: Immediately

Starter Responsibilities:

The starter is responsible for giving the highest level of customer service. He/She allows the golfers to start their round in a prompt and orderly manner, and is responsible for keeping the tee times on time. The starter must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and communicate with golfers in a professional and courteous manner. The starter is an important ambassador to ensure our patrons have an exceptional experience at Dogwood Golf Club.

Ranger Responsibilities:

The ranger is responsible for riding the golf course and monitoring the pace of play. The key to being successful in this position is being helpful, tactful, friendly and professional while directing play. The ranger also serves as a communications vehicle back to the golf shop for status reports and emergencies.

Starter/Ranger Requirements:

  • Must be able to week a weekly 6 hour shift
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Must play golf and have a working knowledge of the game
  • Must be able to lift 60lbs, operate a golf cart and operate a hand radio
  • May be subjected to adverse weather conditions

Compensation:

  • One complimentary round of golf for each 6 hour shift worked
  • Golf privileges anytime Monday thru Friday. Weekends and Holidays after 1 PM
  • Guests play for $30

Golf Operations Manager

Servers/Grill Attendants

Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager and is responsible for service in the grill to Dogwood's members, guests and general public. ( Must be at least 18 years of age)

Beverage Cart Attendants

Responsible for the on-course delivery of food and beverages to Members and public players during their round of golf .Responsibilities include:Stocking cart with food, drinks and ice. Keeping track of all account and cash transactions. Must be able to follow the rules of golf etiquette when approaching a golf group. Provide a high level of professional customer service to Members and public players at all times. Must be at least 18 years of age.
